GENEWIZ Named Recipient of NJBIA Award for Excellence

South Plainfield, NJ -- October 21, 2011 -- GENEWIZ, Inc., the #1 provider of DNA sequencing services, as well as gene synthesis, molecular biology, genomic, and GxP/CLIA regulatory services, was honored by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) 2011 Award for Excellence for Business Expansion. 

Presented by NJBIA President Philip Kirschner, the Award for Excellence recognizes companies’ contributions to New Jersey’s economic growth through business expansion. Award recipients were honored at a dinner ceremony hosted by the NJBIA on Tuesday evening, October 18.

Accepting the Award for Excellence was GENEWIZ Chairman and CEO, Dr. Steve Sun. Citing Greek philosopher Archimedes’ famous proverb, “Give me a lever and I can move the world,” Sun spoke passionately about the impact GENEWIZ DNA services makes for scientists around the world.
